Clarity Review Privacy

The SM2 Business Clarity Review is designed to give you a clear, practical view of your business — without asking for sensitive financial figures or confidential records. This page explains what information the review collects, why we ask each question, and how we protect your answers.

What the review collects

The Clarity Review asks you to score your business across six lenses: Numbers, Tax, Cash flow, Systems, People and Governance. It also asks for your maturity and confidence levels so we can match guidance to your current stage. Finally, you may provide your name and email address if you would like us to send your Now, Next and Beyond plan to you.

We do not ask for bank account numbers, tax reference numbers, payroll records, passwords, login credentials or any other highly sensitive financial data during the review.

Why we ask each question

Each question is chosen to mirror the conversations an experienced adviser would have with a business owner. Your answers help us:

• Identify where the business is already strong.
• Spot the areas most likely to create friction or risk.
• Build a focused, staged action plan in your report.
• Follow up with relevant, useful guidance if you request it.

The answers are used only to generate your personalised report and to support any follow-up conversation you choose to have with SM2.

How your answers are stored

If you choose to save or share your results, your responses are stored securely in our backend database with a unique token. The token is used only to retrieve your report when you open a share link or download your PDF-style summary. We do not use review answers for advertising, profiling or automated decision-making.

Email follow-up

If you request your plan by email, we send the Now, Next and Beyond summary to the address you provide. We keep a record of the request so we can help if you need support. You can ask us to delete your review data and unsubscribe from follow-up emails at any time.
